Any ideas on the closest colours for British Redcoat scarlet. I'm open for any medium and any era from Napoleonic up to Zulu wars.

Hello Jimmy and welcome to the planet,
When I do a British Redcoat I start with a base coat of Floquil enamel Scarlet with the dark shading doen with red with a drop of black mixed into. Then I use daylight red to use as highlight with a final drybrush of daylight red mixed with a drop of white.
