Very nice bust.(y)
Mr. Young if you read this please when? a Luftwaffe pilot, with a tropical shirt with a white cap.
Thanks for the info Guy!

Pedro.

Yes please, but the cap badge looks a touch on the large size.
Still a cracker,
Carl.(y)

Very nice looking figure. And I do not agree with you Grant about the Para face. What is wrong with normal, everyday faces like in real life instead of the Comic book, He-Man caricatures. It is everyday young men going out to fight the enemy and not all of them can be blessed with cut from granite features.

The badge is too big and the hair possibly a bit long but these are minor nit picks in what is otherwise a cracking bit of work, I would like to have this, although I don't know if my painting is up to scratch but my dad was in 1 RTR during WWII so I'd like to do it as a tribute

Vary nice bust. I'd agree with some of the minor points made above about the badge ; the other thought is about the painting : the interior lining of the hood was the same dark khaki wool as the collar , rather than the pale drill of the rest of the suit.

Subject-wise, a long deserved one.

For Young familiars, ok.... this is not a refreshing face like last couple of months. If the nose is less pointed, it can still be all heoric and yet look different enough.

It is interesting to do this maths: if a non-German subject could be produced for every three German releases, wouldn't it be wonderful? Similarly, if a WWI subject could be produced for every five WW2 releases, that would also rock. Not that there is a shortage of these in the market, but Young's touch can really do wonders.

Great subject. He'll be on my (growing) list of figures to paint.....

I'd love to see him do a WW1 Commonwealth.
Carl.

maybe they should put two heads in with the kit....One head could be the normal everyday man who went to War and the second head a good one.;)
