I just picked up Tamiya's figure kit 89618 British Tank Crew (the one with the farmer handing the bottle of wine to one of the tankers. Anyway..
All three tankers are wearing different uniform pieces. One is wearing what appears to be a button up undershirt with no collar. One is wearing a collared button up shirt with epaulets and one pocket on the left breast. Both of these two guys are wearing trousers with large pockets on the upper thighs. They also have leggings at the ankles.
The third tanker is wearing what appears to be a one-piece coverall with two breast pockets, hip pockets and thigh pockets. The left breast pocket has what appears to be pen holders on it.
So... what I'm looking for is websites or reference photos showing the colors of these pieces and/or paint specs for Tamiya or Humbrol for the correct colors of these items. See attached pic for Tamiya's art, which I think is wrong.
In case it matetrs, I'm planning a dio set in Italy in August/September of '44.
