It's interesting to note that, now the skintone is applied, the shirt colour improves. I think the last photo shows the shirt tone is just about there.

It occurred to me that the issues with the colour in the various clips is possibly due to the camera work, where different filters are used for differing light conditions. The other possibility is that there was more than one shirt! Hmmm...

Looking good!

I thought that to myself some time ago, the color differences can also be seen on the pants and the belt.
Forty years ago, color TV sets from the Soviet Union were popular in Poland. Big, heavy, they often ignited by themselves. They had color adjustments, red, green and yellow, that was funny, maybe just like in this case.

Must have been exciting watching the soaps and not knowing if or when your TV would self destruct. Gives a whole new meaning to the old Mission Impossible line "this tape will self destruct in 30 seconds - good luck Jim" :D

Hi M

Nice result on the shirt, you should be happy with it now .....unless I need stronger optivisors ! and it's a base coat ......lol

Looking good!

Have you changed that water lately??

Phil

That's post apocalyptic liquid ...or a very suspect martini without the cherry ...lol

Pure, fresh and healthy!

After the reikland flesh was dry, the guy looked like too much tanning bed, orange, nevermind ;), so was the plan.
Dwarf skin with white, the consistency of colored water, slowly, several layers waiting for each to dry:

Glaze with cadmium skin, same method as above, with more accent on more illuminated parts

Finally, a cadian fleshtone to merge everything and smooth the transitions:

Not quite sure if you can see the difference, it sure isn't orange like it started out with. Now it's time to start hair and eyes, then I'll know what else to lighten and darken.

And some work with hat:

Stay safe.

Nice work Marcin. He's starting to look very good.

Concerning water, I use rain water from the water butt on the side of my workshop. It sometimes has tiny bugs swimming in it. They don't seem to affect the paint finish!

Ok, guys. I think I have to make one last mod here. Lips connection line - a slight smile in original, rather serious in the bust.
Plasticine botox, it'll be now refined:

Gee, so much fun!

Edit:
Whatcha think?

I corrected the shape of the lower lip, it was originally a little too much bent in the middle. i corrected the irises slightly and added a sparkle in the eyes. The latter should not be overdone as too large white dot makes the eyes look like they are full of tears :)

Still, the color of the lips is too strong, I know that and I'll fix it.

Hi Marcin
