Hi All,
had a couple of sittings with this, developing another new head with an air of the early 19th century about him, as some are aware I have a keen interest in Napoleonic Germany, Brunswick especially.
So after a bit of pushing the magic sculp about this is what I had.
The face was fairly easy but that Corsican hat my word, but it worked out between cooking dinner and tweaking the putty as it dried off to get it to hold shape, it looks a little outlandish but there are some very nice pictures of one in the Osprey book 167 Brunswick Troops 1809-15.
I will post as I go, between this an my other sculpt.
Thanks for looking
Best Regards
Paul

Cheers for you kind comments Carl,Ken,Hendryk and Jon.
I've seen a few small scale jager's mainly 54mm but nothing in this scale,it'll be interesting to see how it turns out,the Corsican hat is no more outlandish than a bicorn with a plume I guess.o_O
Any way here's an up date and some idea of what I'm heading for.
As always thanks' for looking(y)
Best Regards

Hi Keith and Hendryk,
so glad you like it,
I had in mind a short stocky build of an old school German huntsman, the short pipe he has, I was looking for the hand made by him look, the traditional long stem variety would be somewhat impractical.
Its something different.....
Keith I'll let you know when I have castings,I hope it'll not be too long.
Best Regards and thanks' for posting.
