Hi, everybody
I finished this one a little while back. It's from Thunderbird Miniatures, and was sculpted by Mike Good. All is painted in oils and I hope you like it.
Thanks for looking,
Eddy

Thanks for looking and for the kind feedback, guys!
Much appreciated!

Ulrich: Basically the brown is done with brown madder alizarine from W&N.
Some burned sienna, a little touch of red, a bit of raw umber for the shadows, and ochre and some naples yellow for the highlights.
That's about it. Hopes it was usefull,
My only concerne is that brown madder alizarine from Winsor & Newton is no longer in production, I'm running out of it, and the new brown madder that's bin replaced by W&N is not the same color, aldough they say it does on there website. Shame...
Cheers,
Eddy

Hey Keith, thank you for the nice comments, mate!
Indeed it was great meeting you finally, my friend!
And sure if I can be in a great, great room filled with the newest figures and can be a whole day with friends who enjoy figurepainting as much as I do,
I feel like Alice in Wonderland.
Cheers, Eddy

Hi Eddy,

I agree a great show in spite of the enforced changes over the years due to the influence of the net..............the standard of models just keeps going up and up. Glad you had a good time...hope to see you next year.........Keith(y)

Nice to see one of these painted up so nicely. Looking at it now, I think I made the pipe too small. Strange how I never notice this kind of thiong until it is too late.....

Nice job Eddy! (y)

Cheers!! :D

Mike

Hi Mike, Thank you very much for the kind comments!
I had lots of fun painting this little guy up, mostly because it's such a lovely and smooth sculpt!

Hi Keith, my undercote is Humbrol mat sand (63) in two layers.

Cheers, Eddy
