Dear friends here is some progress with the second figure of Mr Bruno's vignette. The face almost done. Maybe some extreme highs and the iris of the eyes to add. I m not very happy with the belt color. I first thoughted of painting it red or deep green so any suggestion whould be appreciated. Hope you like it. Cheers.

Wow, lovely. . . if I could paint a face like that. . . I'd be a happy camper,
even though it will be 35 below in the morning, Fahrenheit. Ug.

Re your question asking for opinions as to the color for the "belt". I presume
you're referring to what I would call a sash the cloth tied around his waist.

I don't see a green going too well with the red. But of course, that is just
an opinion. I would stay on the same side of the colour wheel with shades
of red or blue. Perhaps a violet color?

I am eager to hear what other Planeteers would suggest. Lastly, I am
wondering if you may want to attach the head before you make a decision
about what color to paint the sash/belt? Just a suggestion, of course.

Beautiful facial tones! (y)(y)

PS. After looking at the pictures again, I think perhaps you're referring
to the equipment belt that goes over his right shoulder. Whoa, effective
communication sometimes is difficult to achieve, hun.

Dimitrios,
It looks fantastic so far and great face. I like the colours that you have but green is complimentary to red.
Cheers

Dear friends thank you for your kind comments. Rick you r right about the sash. That is what i was talking but couldnt find the right word for it. I ve assembled the head to the body and i have to say that i m thinking about repainting it in a more redish color. Violet or burgandy maybe.Give the figure a three color look. Black, Red and White. Stephan the flesh is with oils with the same technique as on the sbs on Anne Bonie.

I like the idea of Burgundy. . .

Oh yes, I didn't think of Burgundy. . . I think that would work very well, and
still be in colour harmony with what you have painted already.

Good thinking,

rick
