Almost finished this bust. Just some minor adjustments to make. Especially the lance. All painted in oils.
It's depicting a soldier of the Highlander regiments that fought Napoleon at Waterloo.
The scale is 1:10

The Cameron Highlander is painted superbly, nice reds and the diced band is great, is this the MJ miniatures bust? Very nicely detailed. :happy:

Very nice Yoshi, I'm so tempted to return to oil paints, how did you get the matt finish on the green facings?
It's one of the colours that invariably dried 'shiny on me!

Chailey, I let the oilpaint dry out on paper for a few hours before using them. It helps a lot in drying with a matt finish.
