Hi mates,

I bring you some initial pictures of the figure I am painting now for a friend. It is a Pegaso figure in 75mm representing Captain Alexander Gaultier, ADC of Marshall Suchet. So far I have finished it from the waist up, waiting for the pelisse, which I will paint and glue in the last place.
As usual, the quality of this brand is sensational, both for the size and reproduction of the details. The most complicated part (so far...) has been painting and centering the gaze, because the shade of the shako gets in the way and makes you lose perspective, as you need to paint the eyes with the figure lying down. But I think the result is not very bad...

I've painted this figure not long ago, and I felt the same difficulty with the eyes. I think you're doing and excellent job on this figure.
It's a very nice one, unfortunatly it isn't seen around much.
Keep up the good work

Regards
Pedro

My friend, nice job!! nice blue paint and the face......superb!!

Un abrazo!!

Hi again to everyone!

Here I leave more pictures of the situation of the figure. Is almost finished, only remains to round off the terrain with some more vegetation and grass, and, of course, the pelisse, that I will paint soon to conclude this work.
The pictures detract a little from the intensity and tone of the real colors, especially the blue and red, but they are close to reality.

Hello!!

Thanks a lot for your comments, friends. Colors in this kind of figure are very important, you have to be careful, because their combination with the golden braiding is what makes the whole lot elegant and attractive.

I will put on the final pictures shortly, since I'm currently finishing the figure.

Cheers, Robert.
