I've been experimenting with colours under the cheekbone and was deliberately trying to get them harsh.|Still need to experiment some more.
 
Hi Ralph, I also agree with Tommi. You've made tremendous improvements in your painting recently and the evidence is right there to see. Detailed painting on the lacework is just one aspect. I also like the natural contrasts and skin tones on the face.
