By coincidence I'm also looking to gather information for the standard carried by this figure. There are battle honours sculpted on the standard but these have been left plain without any wording.

The Battle Honours awarded to the 93rd Highlanders before the Indian Mutiny were:
Peninsula - awarded 6th June 1815
Toulouse - awarded 9 July 1816
Cape of Good Hope - awarded 1 December 1835
Alma - awarded 16 October 1855
Balaclava - awarded 16 October 1855
Sevastopol - awarded 16 October 1855
Source: Major HG Parken, OBE Shoulder-Belt Plates and Buttons Gale and Polden, Aldershot, 1956, p312

See also Hansard 14 February 1922: confirms Crimean War Battle Honours were awarded in October 1855

I am not sure if the Crimean War Battle Honours had been added to the 93rd's colours by the time of the mutiny. Perhaps someone else might be able to confirm one way or the other.

I have my doubts regarding "Peninsula" and "Toulouse".
These are probably as a result of later amalgamations.
I have come across this site:-
http://www.theargylls.co.uk/service93rd.php
which gives an itemised record of where the Regiment was between 1799 and 1882.
It also states when new flags were presented.
Under 1857 it states "On the 22nd of May new colours were presented to the 93rd by H.R.H the Duke of Cambridge."
It seems possible that "Cape of Good Hope" and the three Crimean honours might have been on the flag but, given the snail-paced operations of army higher authorities, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't.
No doubt someone will come up with more definitive information.

Cheers,
Andrew

P.S. Under 1855, 2nd May, the table gives Lucknow under Crimea. I presume a 'typo', since Lucknow is correctly placed in 1857.

Greetings.
The Regimental Colour Image I posted above has the Cape of Good Hope Battle Honour shown at the Bottom.
If the Regiment was presented with New Colours In May 1857 I am 100% sure they would have included the Crimean War Battle Honours. Along with the Colours being slightly reduced in size, and the Battle Honours taken off the Queens ( Royal ) Colour as per the 1844 regulations.
I would also say they would have taken their new Colours with them to the Mutiny.
If you could post a Picture of the Colour you intend to paint I feel sure that between us we will be able to get it right.

Just one thing the thread is entitled Sgt he was in fact a Captain during the Mutiny.

Thank you Andrew. Another site gives similar information http://www.93rdhighlanders.com/hist.html

It would seem Parken is incorrect. He lists Peninsula and Toulouse under the 93rd Highlanders prior to the amalgamation - with a seperate list for the 91st which also includes both. A lesson in one can't trust what appear to be credible sources, and that one needs to validate them against others. I note Wikipedia only has Cape of Good Hope, but I thought Parken was probably more accurate.

Apologies for the bum drum
