I have just finished work on this 54mm figure by Tommy's War Victorian Heroes, Captain of The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders 1882. I decided to change a few things on the figure to put my own personal touch on it. I have changed the head and used a Hornet head form the spares box, which I converted carving off the head gear and sculpting hair to it, including moustache and side burns. The figure is to represent Captain F.S Chapman who fought in The battle of Tel-El- Kebir in September of 1882. I have also changed some of the creases on the tunic etc... I have painted him in Vallejo and Jo Sonja acrylics. Hope you like him.
John, :)

Beautiful work john, some lovely subtle changes,a piece to be proud of mate.
it was a shame it got hammered by bill horan on facebook, but don't let it put you off mate, were not all experts on Victorian military history (y)

Excellent changes, painting and presentation.
My particular favourite element is the head, which looks very Victorian.

Cheers,
Andrew
