Captain, Franco-Prussian War 1870-1871. 70mm, white metal.
This is an excellent figure sculpted by Stefano Cannone. Straightforward painting job it come out rather nice .I really enjoyed painting it ,acrylics mainly with some oils and inks . Hope you like it .

Hi friends
Thank you all and one by one personally for the excellent your comments.
Truly this is a miniature and French officers from the elite company that should not be missing from our collection.
As for the blue (which is one of my favorite colors) done with basic color :

Prussian Blue (Andrea colors)
Prussian Blue (Sonjna colors)
Purple oscuro (Vallejo colors)
and only the lights with pure white.
About shadows only from the citadel washes turn purple, green and blue in some places pure black.
