Hi to all. I painted this classic Metal Modeles figure in 90mm in a different regiment from the box art.
I painted it using acrylics, as always, and I added a fence, I made it using a hard plastic material, and vegetation.
I took the uniform details from Bucquoy, la cavallerie legere. Since 1807 the first regiment changed the blue trousers to red, even in campaign.
This figure is the cover of my site in december.
Hope you like it.

Beautiful paintings and great sculpture. Hussars have had a beautiful uniform!

Excellent paintjob on an excellent figure. I had never seen it painted as a 1st Hussards before. It's a pity Metal Modeles do not expand their 90mm series. Some years ago, I heard B Leivobitz had another 90mm napoleonic figure ready for production, but it never reached MM's catalogue.

A great rendition of a beautiful, classic kit.
I've heard some people describe this as the best kit they're ever done. I gather it's flawless. Shame they never went into this scale in a bigger way.

Hi to all, Sorry for the late response. Thanks clrsgt, Marc, Andrei, Konstantin, Colin, Pedro, John, Fabrizio, Antonio, Luis, I thin the same as you, the 90mm range is stopped since long time ago.
Thanks, swralph, Keith.
Orlando, I take the pics with a Panasonic DMC-TZ10, with Leica optics, this camera is very proper to take pictures of small things, closely, and without using the macro. I made the background and the cutout of the contour of the figure, using a famous photographic application.
Thanks Blind Pew, certainly the figure is very good and the assembly is correct, anyway I made my own belts( keeping the original buckles) for sable and sabretache to easy and proper fixation of all elements.
