Hello Ron,
Maybe I whas to soft, but the painting is great.
Now i enlarge your pictures and indeed, the Right eye must be redone.
But it is a perfect painted bust.

Hi Ron,
Sorry I missed this initially , really like the way you have approached this one , it is a great bust , like Del said , nice to see the armour not being too rusty .

Like the colour combinations of the clothing , the leatherwork is as all have said great ......

The right eye ...I am sure will be corrected !!!!!

The fleshwork looks good as well ...I wouldn't want to argue with this guy ..he means business !!!!

Nap

Del ..."snappy dressers" ........Mmmmmmm ..of course you are (y);)

Ronnie just got round to seeing this and you have done a wonderful job on it. Love your metals and leathers, you better bring notes on saturday.
Where did you get your idea for the blue of his jacket?

Great job
Don

PS still cant get over the "Snappy Dresser"? Could that refer to the Del Boy we know and love??

Keith Davidson sent me some references ,there was a nice washed out green
so i started with that and ended up with washed out blue  at least it wasn't
a green horse

if you put the armour and helm on del he would look just as imposing :lol:

Lovely work Ron truly!

I particularly like the muted tones mate! He looks lived in:)
Thats exactly as I saw him in my minds eye when I made him. maybe slightly different colours, you know the George Cross etc :lol::lol:

I'm forever grateful to all the painters who bring my stuff to life and make them live.

Thanks Guys

Carl

Cheers Carl It is always nice when the sculptor likes the paint job.
Was going to do him with a St George's cross  then thought
Derek and Don would have disowned me
