It's that time of year again when you will be bombarded with new figures being launched at Euro Militaire.

Here is a 75mm figure depicting a standard bearer of the 1st reg't of the 11th New York Fire Zouaves at the first Bull Run. ACW.

(I have made a slight alteration to the figures left hand since I took the pictures. He now has a clenched fist. I will update the images when I have the time)!
As you can see this is a very colourful piece with red shirt dark pants and white flag. One for the painters who like colour!

He is cast in resin and white.

Price is £35.00

This will be launched at Euro Militaire, then via the usual route of SK Miniatures after the show.

Steve will not be taking stock until the Saturday of the show!!!

I hope you like him guys!

Great stuff and needed. I kinda wish it was 90-100mm to go alond with the rest of mmmy CW New Yorkers, but this will most certainly make it into my collection.

Oh Carl

You're a bad boy - you have it in for my money!

Incredibly beautiful figure, I love flags and even more so when the subject is given!

Cheers

absolute beautifull. And Mr, Reid, i have guessed how you do all this work, you have cloned yourself!! So there are god knows how many Carl Reids hidden some where

chained to tables, working day and night, so when we are told that another casting was done by yourself.it is done by you but a replica. So when these clones gain self awareness(don't they always do in the movies)let the Clone wars begin!!!

Oh my goodness, Carl . . . another outstanding piece! Yes, this is a painter's figure, for sure. Gotta paint it "by the book" - colors for both uniform and flag are documented - but the impact of that standard is going to be a stunner on tables on both sides of the pond.
Congrats again on this latest run of figures. Wonderful subject choices and excellent execution - thanks for another non-traditional addition to the marketplace.
Best regards, Don

Cheers Don, I'm glad you like him!

I think the colour combinations should look pretty striking when he's done. That's the reason I sculpted the flag behind him, so the red shirt would be framed by the white of the flag.
