Hello All,

For those who don't know, I owned Harton Miniatures for many years. I decided to call it a day about 4 years.

Well I have decided to climb back into the saddle once again, (so to speak), with my own range. Called Carl Reid Sculptures....

Here are my first 2 offerings. To be released at Euro Militaire next weekend!

They will be available through SK Miniatures for all retail orders, and home sales (this includes UK trade orders). I will deal with the export trade at this stage.

The first piece is:

CRS/01. Chester Yellow Tail (Crow)
He depicts an old Crow elder, in 1:9th scale.

The second piece:

CRS/02. Slim Cody (Trapper)
He depicts an old Trapper, he wears an Indian Capote, with a racoon skin, and two traps over his shoulder.

Both are priced at £37.00

I hope you like them. Your comments are most welcome!

Hi Carl,

two very nice sculpted busts !!! I really love your work !!!

I also wish you the best success for your new start with your company !!!

Cral that is good news, my first bust was your Dancer you made many moons ago, I am really pleased that you are keeping the trend and having more western subjects coming, love your trademark now ... man you have added not one but two more feathers to your warbonnet, Chief Carl ... lokking forward to see your work this Euro!

Ivan

Congratulations, Carl! That sounds like music into my ears!
I have allways adored your busts, not only the Harton (I got five of them),
but also the recent releases for other companys (another two I got).
So, I can only say, keep them coming! All the luck for your new company, Carl!

Eddy.

Just when I thought I collected all of your Indian busts you have to make a come back,......:D.

Wishing you all the best in your new venture Carl and it's great to see more of your work. I had the pleasure in meeting you in person in '99 at the Euro and it's quite an impression you made back then. Bought 5 of your magnificent busts and added a couple more along the way.

Guess I really must order another showcase now to make space for more of your little Indians :)

All the best.

Carl, stunning first two releases, and gret to hear about your new venture, all the best with that. I'm sure SK will be kept busy. I know it's early days but do you have plans for any full figs (90mm). A mountain man/trapper i hope.
Barrie.

G'day Carl,

Will your WW1 Tommy be released under your own label or by someone else? Either way I'm getting it. The painted version at Euro was amazing, as were all the other Carl Reid pieces on display.

Hi Tony,

Cheers mate!!

The "Tommy" is being released by Model Cellar later in the year mate! It should get a good response judging by the amount poeple that asked about it! I think Paul at Model Cellar will be busy...

Carl
