Hello friends!!!!!!

I present the last figure I´ve finished. It´s a soldier of the Aragon Regiment in the defense of Cartagena de Indias (now in Colombia) but in 1741 in the Spanish Virreinato of Nueva Granada.
British army, under the command of Admiral Vernon tried to take this city in 1741 with an army of 11,000 men. Spain had 4,000 men including armed civilians and Indians.

Blas de Lezo, military Governor of the city defended the city with these troops during two months of hard and bloody fighting. The British never passed from the port and nearby streets.

After 6.000 men lost in these combats, the British left the combat. The Spanish lost 7oo men.

The figure, modelled in 54 mm depict one of these heroic spanish.....

I hope you like it...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards.

Antonio Magnfica! A very good staging. A great battle that British friends do not want to remember!!:whistle:

Lucky the painter to paint it.

Greetings.
