Cavalry Officers,Army of Essex,ECW

I do not post very often but I am much more prolific than my posting record suggests.Main reasons for not posting often are:
a)I tend to lose interest once the subject is complete
b) I am a poor photographer who somehow manages to "kill"most of the chromatic contrast
This project is a favorite one though and just finished so I decided to give it a go.Two Parliamentarian cavalry officers (as the sash suggests)from the army of Essex(orange sashes).I have used different mixes for the flesh,buff and sashes so the figures although identically dressed and armed should look not completely the same
Figures by Fabrimore Soldiers and Crecy in 54mm.Painted in Vallejo acrylics

Really nice figures, the faces are great and I love the way you have done the buff coats and armour. I know what you mean though about losing interest once the project is done, out with the old and in with the new and the process starts all over again.

They look really nice. Lots of character in the paintwork.

The photos are absolutely fine, maybe just put a plain piece of paper or card behind the figures as the bottles are a bit distracting.
