Hi Ken,
What great work in such a small scale, I love these little vignettes of yours. I bet those stars on the flags were a joy to paint, I hope you were a good boy with your language otherwise Santa not might turn up.
cheers
Richie

Many thanks Richie! :) I'm not sure about Santa, but my wife did leave the room briefly.

Hi Ken

Just WOW!!!??? ....What a result m, great painting everywhere and matching basework

You certainly pushed the painting to get completed

Great to see this finished why not enter something into FOTM and Vignette & Diorama comp as well

Have a great Christmas all of you and 2021

Happy benchtime

Nap

Thanks Nap! It was a couple loooong painting sessions, but my wife wanted me available for the holidays.

Have a Merry Christmas!!!

Excellent paintwork, i thought your vignette is 54mm, but just saw it's smaller. Amazing piece, very moving scene, soldiers burying their comrade, i can imagine they have been in many burials before this and also seen many of their fellow soldiers fall, that Confererate battle flag is a nice touch, wiever can see these troopers are burying a veteran of another bloody war.

Merry Christmas to you and stay safe :)

Thanks very much! Oniria's western movie vignettes are wonderful in concept and execution and a joy to paint. This one really caught my attention and I wanted to do it justice.

Have a safe and healthy Christmas. :)

Lost track of this one for a while. Superb job all around and the addition of the coffin absolutely makes the whole thing work. I will be ordering this one for sure.
