Hi Marcel,
I see in miniature painting both very good at painting the body and the purple is amazing.
Now as to the development of muscles I have a little objection to both the side and the abdominal muscles always agree with the stance of miniatures.
But this little comment does not spoil my view of the miniature that you're okay!!;)

Alexandros

Günther, Adrian, Mark, Alexandros and Artur thanks a lot for the compliments and comments.

Adrian: Yes, your right it was at SMC. Now I also know from who were the roman, Schwarzkopf and the german tanker. :)

Mark: Yes, I am a little bit.

Alexandros: sculptwise there are several things that can be improved, still a lot to learn here. Hopefully my next projects will be a bit better. But I'm pleased with the overal result of my fourth sculpture.

Cheers,
Marcel.

The purple you've painted the trousers captures perfectly the purple dye they used to make from blackberries. That tended to fade very quickly to a red colour (true shellfish purple didn't, which was why it was so hugely expensive in ancient times) but we could suppose his trousers are brand new and put on specially to go out with the warband.

Thanks Fernando, It was a pleasure to meet you there.
Harry and Kazufumi thanks for the compliments!
I didn't want a too purple color and added sand color for the highlights and used a red color for the base. I know that purple was an expensive color but I liked it for this figure.

Cheers,
Marcel.
