Fabricio, the helmet of this figure is northern italic, not strictly celtic, especially when shown with a panache from hairs. No latene helmet was found with a device to fix a panache. The chest plate ist strictly northern italic. The broche is early mediveal. The sword is a mixture of fantasy and early latene (around 5th cent. BC). Chain belt and iron clad umbo on the shield is middle latene (around 3th cent.BC). So don't bother about a shield design, simply made whatever you like or prefer.

If you want a design which can be proved for late latene (1th cent. BC) - there are none. The celts itself shows only shield without design, but often with the layers of the plywood. Sample:

The Romans shows different designs on their victory monuments (where the most designs which are usually shown are from). The "largest collection" is from the triumph monument in Orange /France

But please note that these are heavily mixed with roman style symbols also and that they may be simply artistic licence. Nearly all celtic representations by the romans (or greeks) are full of artistic licence and barbaric myths.

An accurate 54mm celtic figure is very hard to find. It should not have
- fur clothing
- pig tails, long beard
- more than 2 weapons
- a plume or panache on the helmet
- bracelets
- axes (there are exceptions - what I mean are "standard axes")
- horned helmets

Of course there are "rules" within the centuries and definetly each piece of the equipment must harmonize in time and area. It nothing else like, let me say, an english soldier. You can't make one with a steel helmet M1917, a brown bess, a cross bow and a mediveal breast plate.

To be honest, I don't have one myself, except two bare breasted examples from Andrea and two 120mm samples which where sculpted but never get into large scale production.
There are some chances to convert early Latene-celts by using Greeks with Linothorax and giving them celtic helmets, swords and shields and late Latene celts by giving roman soldiers celtic shields, trousers, long swords and very early Weisenau/gallic helmets. Middle Latene celts can be converted also, as there are some examples with correct helmets (remove any plumes or panaches), using chain belts and correct swords.

Pegaso Celts are completely fancyful, Romeos are not quite better and Andrea's could be the basis for a conversion.

Or: Take one which fits your taste and have fun with painting it. That's what it should be.

Piotrec, they are quite near the archaelogical sources, not perfect, but not as fanciful as often seen. The first one is wearing a very high version of a "Berru" type helmet which dates him "Early La Tene" period, let us say around 450BC. I can't see further details. Does he have a plume? Remove it, no Berru helmet ever found has a provison to fix one. Men with pigtails is a barbaric stereotype, but not ever mentioned in the celtic era. No upper arm bracelets, very seldom there are plain simple spiral bracelets on the wrist. The sword scabbard must be metal, iron plate work, sometimes bronze.

The large headhunter is unspecific. The torque on the neck dates him Late La Tene, the chain belt dates him Middle La Tene. With the scabbard at this position, he could not walk. I have tried it, it simply does not work.

The last one is very late Late LaTene (;) ) period. He is wearing a helmet type "Port", chain mail armour and the shield boss is round without a "spina". I can't see the sword in detail, it should be very long, blunt tip and the scabbard completely in blank metal. I can't identify this round golden piece on the chest, it's not celtic, but let us say it's some booty or a present from a foreign lady.
