I am always in awe of those who can attain perfect symmetry on complex designs like this. Even a fraction of a mm out (especially on stuff like Fleur-de lis etc.) and any error stands out like a sore thumb.

What a superb figure this is turning out to be.

Thank you for your kind words!!!

Yes Nap I sketch it first with pencil and after with fine detail brush start paint it! I see some mistakes I made, I will try to fix them..
Thanks for that “Tip” I never thought about sketching with a pencil! I’ve been doing free hand all of these years. Now it’s time paint something with a design.

Hi IIias

Nice work on the shield damage , I like the deep cuts and slashes but personally would take back some of the finer cuts all over ..just my thoughts

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Hi IIias

Very nice result on the shield , he's certainly been right in the action

The painting effects in the edging works well

Do like the centre boss can you advise the method/ colours you used ?

Thanks for the great updates

I give more progress to the base, I paint the river rocks with light brown and wash it with deep brown, also make green and bleu washes around the lake.
The base it will be in two layers the up and the down layer!
For the upper part I create some rock with Fimo air light which I will use as a base to extend it with epoxy clay.
For the down part I will add some detail in the bottom of the lake a broken sword and a scull.
I will make first the down part because is the most difficult! I will pure crystal clear epoxy resin to create the water effect so I will finish first the bottom of the lake to get ready for the mold.
