I have completed this one today, and was pleased with the result, I have ordered another to paint as 16th Lancers at Aliwal. The detail of the shoulder scale is superb and very well defined.
This is now beside the other Lancer, I painted last year.

A fine bit of painting there mate , like the cover on helmet and the faces are great , looking forward to seeing the 16th

Just had a close look and boy those blues are good and the details on the shoulder scales ..great

This bust coukd be the starting point for so many conversions......

Thanks Terry, it was the first time I had used black on the undercoat for the blue. Glad you liked him.
