Good morning all, the plinth arrived this morning so I finished off the bits I wanted to and I happy. However. If any of you notice anything then please feel free to critique as it’s the only way to learn in this hobby!
Here are the details of him:
French Empress Dragoon 1815
CGS Military from Graham Cath Scollick
Sculpted by Moz Corry
Plinth from Richard Wharton at Qakwood Studios
200mm
Mostly Lifecolor, AK and Vallejo acrylics but a slight use of oils as a wash.
I had it pointed out that the Band on the helmet should be leopard skin but during research I found that some had jaguar, obviously taken from expeditions to South America. Don’t forget French officers of the day liked to stand out!!
Excuse the photos of the back of the tunic as I was taking then it started to rain so it isn’t excess paint you can see it’s tiny rain drops!!
I highly recommend this figure to anyone.
I hope you like him. And no, I’m not on commission from Graham I just like his products and customer service.View attachment 317987 View attachment 317987
