Hello friends

Just started this new composition, mostly with Metal Modeles parts but also Historex and good amount of scratch.

Looks really good Paul. Is the horse from the MM Lancer Officer? I like the pose of that horse.
I can't wait to see some colour go on this guy.

Good luck

Colin

That looks superb, what a great start! I love that you can't tell what pieces are commercial and what you did yourself (y) (y)

Body (including legs) from the mounted ADC, head from the artilleur, horse from the Polish Lancer.
Modifications: harness, turnbacks (to fit the "portmanteau"), ADC armband removed, "banderole" reworked (with Historex eagle and crown + copper wire), "aiguillette" reworked with copper wire "trèfle".
Humbrol primer with airbrush (new to me and very exciting exercise).

Thank you very much, Paul. With this information, we all have, a more precise idea about all the work tou have made. Thanks for sharing.

Love these Metal models wonders ,and conversions ,this will be special .

Must try and get back into this Scale ,just so much scope ,digging out the horse grenadier from the pile at the moment ,he has been put back in the box about ten times before :)

Will watch this one closely .

Will you break this down to paint it or paint it as it is? I have this terrible habit of painting the various parts and then finding that they don't quite fit, or I end up getting glue where it is not wanted. I'll be interested to see how you approach this as I have a Drawert full of MM mounted figures that I haven't started yet.
