It's a wonderful piece by CR and MMM and showing it unpainted in their website doesn't do it justice.
 
Wonderful work! I've been studying your pics with great care - if you don't mind sharing a secret, what did you use for the gold braid and lace if you only used printer's ink for the buttons? There's such a vibrancy and subtly of shading and highlights.

Chris, base is mat sand humbrol 63 and after letting complete dry out,
I use W&N Vandyke brown, than getting it off as much as possible with a dry brush, than Yellow Ochre Highlighted and Nickel Titanium Yellow deep from Rembrandt, and a tiny bit of white if necessery.
