Back again,

Finally assembled the Chasseur tonight! I'll call the painting on the rider 95% complete for now... a few post assembly touch ups, the sabre hilt, stirrups... odds and sods. I'm going to leave the sabre blade for the absolute last (if I do it now, dollars to doughnuts, it will get broken), I left it unprimed and will burnish it before attatching it to the hilt.

Next... the horse... dapple grey and a leopard skin saddlecloth  A huge challenge ahead!!!

As always, comments and critique are most welcome....

Cheers

Colin

Looking good!! This is getting along nicely! The sabretache looks it's great, not easy to paint that.
Now to the horse...good luck with him ;) as I said before, I've a figure internacional magazine explaining the painting of that type of saddle in PDF, if you need I send it you to.

Keep on Rockin'
Best Regards
Pedro

Thanx Eduardo, I will give a once ov er now that it's assembled to see if any of the shadows and highs have to be adjusted.

Colin, this is looking just awesome!! Your painting is improving incredibly fast...
good luck with the dapples on the grey horse, take your time and it will turn out great(y). It's not hard, just fiddly, but the Chasseur already shows you have the patience.
