This is Cheech Wizard, a counter-culture comic character from the late 60s and early 70s. If you went to high school or college in the US during that time, you're probably familiar with it. If not, go here:

The figure was sculpted from Sculpey III, primered with Floquil Gray Railrod Primer, and painted with Reaper Master Series Acrylics. Just a bit of fun.

Questions and comments welcomed.

Cheers,

Glen

Yeah Cheech Wizard...Vaughn Bode', sadly gone and his great artwork and comic books.
Along with the Keep on Truckin' Do-dah Man, how could one forget?
Cool sculpt...nice memory.

Thanks Phil. Others have suggested I do the KOT figure as well as the mounted Assassin from 'Wizards'. Both are on the list pending the completion of other projects.

Cheers,

Glen

Hi Glen although not familiar with the character it's a nice job on the sculpting and painting, what size is it.

Cheers Ken

Oops, I neglected to mention that little detail! It's 100mm from the top of the hat to the bottom edge of the base.

Gettin' old...
