I'll be there, please introduce yourself,I'll be the lumbering one trying to get use to crutches.Rushing to finish the Frank's Minatures ACW Grenadier and to a tumble on the man cave steps. Figure and my Fibula are not so good, but I made itL

I did not take a lot of pictures, but many did and will follow here shortly I am sure. I did take a poor picture of Best in Show painted by Mr. Jason Green. Strong work Jason! Well earned. This crappy pic does not convey the subtle brilliant painting that was done here. Hopefully better pics pop up.

I drove up from Indianapolis to attend the show with my good friend and long time MMSI member Fred Lombardo, our 12th or 13th show together. As usual, we had a great time and enjoyed enjoyed the contest entry's and vendor's area. Will have to bring more money next year!

One of the coolest parts of the show was being able to see a couple of Shep's dioramas from the old brochures. Still very good work to this day. Really brought back old memories for me.

Very true. Also consider how innovative those pieces were in the early '70's when the hobby was mostly toy soldiers painted in glossy enamels. You could have entered those two dioramas in the show this weekend and they would have gotten attention, even though they were made 40-42 years ago.....

Shep was the master who inspired a whole generation of miniaturists.
