Hello guys, so here we go again with another flat that I sculpted a few years back and cast in resin.
Anyway, this is the master from magic sculp..to which I've recently added some very small but important improvements.
It's based on a beautiful painting by Howard Terpning...

Any comments are more than welcome..Thanks for taking a look.

Roy.

John, Johan and Conny..many thanks for the encouraging comments guys..

Stephen..perhaps in the future, just a small amount as I've made some small changes to the master, it may be worth doing a few..I'd love to see it painted a few different ways..

Roy,

Oke, your flats are resin. The most flats i've seen are whitemetal.
But i see no difference. The only thing is, yours are great sculpted, so make the flat in resin and bring them on the market.
As i read the last days the treats about the flats, you get at least 10 sold and you had to do nothing for it then showing here!!!!!!!!!!!
An the flat's that you sculpt are worth the buy.

Looks really great. A question for you, how do you go about sculpting a flat? It seems that it would be a bit different from a regular figure. Easier? Harder? Maybe you could do a SBS sometime, it would be interesting to see the process.

Thanks Evan...I know you like a bit of sculpting yourself. I wouldn't like to say if it was harder or easier than a conventional figure...but it does offer different challenges...keeping perspective in mind and trying to re-create that effect is a bunch of fun....I'll try to get a short sbs with some pictures up a little later today...
