A period very often not coverd or even remembered
This is a collaboration with the talented Lucy’s Bezerra
It depicts a chindit crossing a river as in the pic
Kit blocked in all early stages deciding if he should be carrying rifle or Bren
There will be a water effect and the rain on the water
Really pleased with face want the gaunt fatigued look
Uniform will be well worn will be carrying wadding stick
Hope you like all C&C greatly appreciated
Chris

Hi Chris

Really good idea , liking the face on him

Good idea to have him wading through water , there's the potential to offer a bust cut just below belt as well for those that don't want to do the water

A Bren gun would be nice

Following this with interest

Look forward to updates here on this

That is a great concept piece. I agree with Nap he would make a wonderful bust but would rather he carried the rifle.

If this is to be a commercial piece I am not sure about the rain on the water effect. That would mean there would have to be rain on the soldier too which forces the painter a single option for painting. It would be a challenge to pull off and may limit the number of people wanting to give it a try.
On the other hand if this is just for you then it will make for a very eye-catching model that way.

This looks very impressive, the bust is a good option too.
The face has such great character.

Hi Taff,

Very unusual figure, especially the face is very nicely done. Look forward to see the next update images of the figure.

Gotta ask.... I do like the detail on the face, but I have to wonder just how old this chap is? Maybe it's the render and lack of color. He just feels much, much older to me. Maybe that's fitting and I don't know the full story. Either way, great work and fantastic detail.

As to the face, I think he's looking under nourished, which is making him look older.
It has lots of character, and I think its going to be a superb piece when finished.
