I agree with Chippy and Ron - Christmas has no meaning as it's advertised intensively as of Nov 1st. I love the t-shirt which sums up my view of things very nicely.

Cheers

No surprise there, after all you are Welsh and we all know the traditional welsh seasonal greeting......
Baaaaa Baaaaa have a humbug :D

Im looking forward to my Humbug ,oh and my first ever Office Christmas party  in my new job , must remember too its not a building trade one , that was the last time in the late seventies when my Hud carrier smacked a rival squads hod carrier over the nut with a screw tap

Christmas has been a changing event from way back...pagan, cum religious, cum folklore thing...mixed Germanic, Brit, American soup...post wwii evolved into parallel religious, gift exchange, party thing. With merchants so much making or breaking in this season it’s no wonder the hype...and artificiality.

However, best one can do is deal with it ...by keeping ones own version, by getting to a warm desert island for a couple of months, or joining in...I’d say the only prescription is to avoid being driven towards maintaining standards that mess with finances or relationships, and try to find some fun...

Personally I loathe much of it, but was near enough death last year to be enjoying some simple pleasures...that t shirt does seem useful...wear that to the local mall!
