Excellent work Mark! Great work on the details like cap badge, ball and bottle particularly.
Your work shows that drab-coloured pieces don't have to look drab.

Cheers,
Adrian

Fantastic Mark! Perfectly evocative! All the guys of the real Truce would be proud to see your interpretation. This figurine is exceptional and so is your work! Congratulations :) (y)

Many, many thanks everyone!!

I worked right over the christmas break ( support worker in the real world lol ) and also tried to take a break from everything figure related ( as a kind of holiday :) ).... I have just mucked around with an old Zvezda kit to help keep my hand in on finishing, lots of added details but all home made :)

Anyway thanks again and I too was suprised how colourfull he looks now he's finished :)

Happy new year to you one and all!!!!

Hi Mark,

He's an inspiring piece mate, colourful as Adrian pointed out, which says it has a brightness your painting style brings out. Still something I'm trying to master, especially with drab. I'm sure we'll see many more WW1 personalities from you again this year.
I especially like seeing the improvements you make in your own skills with each piece while still retaining your own style.

Keep 'em coming!

Stay safe

Mike
