Hi All,

We have another record-setting show on the books. An event high 652 entries from 154 entrants were in the expanded show space. Even with the new expanded space, we ended up bringing in additional tables due to the influx of great stuff on display. In addition, we had a record number of vendors occupying 104 tables with all kinds of goodies to sell. We can't express our appreciation enough, for those who came out and spent a very nice Autumn day with us.

Below are some general event photos. I'll follow up with figures on display at the show in this thread.

Cheers,
Doug

Hi Doug

Now that’s a great picture report from a show ,many thanks for taking the time to share

Some really nice models all over the show ,like the ACW 1/16th busts ....yours perhaps ?

Venue looks good as well

Hope we see more from you and other club members

Enjoy the benchtime

Thanks Nap,

Yes, the mini-busts are mine. Those little FeR busts were just what I needed to get me out of my 7-year "finishing" rut. Too bad they're OOP.

Cheers,
Doug

Interesting to note the lack of Historical entrants, seems to be a growing trend.

The mini busts you entered Doug are very nicely painted. I've been trying to collect these myself, it would be nice to see them repeated.

Thank you, Keith.

Yeah, we've noticed the fewer historical entries too. More fantasy/horror/"gaming" - and some really good work, there, too! Could be there's more creative leeway there. After all, can't really discuss whether that Orc flesh or Elf armor looks realistic or historically correct. :) Some neat techniques, too. Had a good conversation with the guy who did the Queen Bee and White Rabbit figures. He's doing some interesting subtle finish work using pigment powders.

Cheers,
Doug
