Hi All

I have started my next project of a downed British Pilot in France being assisted in hiding from the Germans. This will be another box diorama and I will post other photos as I go on with my project which will be finished for the Dublin Show in May.

The figures started off as the Partisan set from Esci which I have converted.

I have used magic sculpt and lead foil and fuse wire for the conversion.

I would appreciate any input you might like to give.

Thanks

John Schley

It looks like the pilot is injured.
But when that's the case he must lean more to the lady, that must also lean to the front.
Now it looks more like dancing the chachacha :):)
Forgive, but i cannot do a better sculp then yours, so for me it is great.
But i gotta give my comments, where i hope help you with in the right direction.

Sebastien and Marc

many thanks for your comments Marc he is indeed wounded and is partially leaning on the lady for support.Your comment is a valid one and I will try and rectify the positions.

Okay here is a different angle just to see if this makes more sense position wise

Okay here a few different views of the figures, perhaps they are a little better for positioning. Let me know what you think.

Hi Roberto

thanks for the comments, off to Welling Saturday for the show . Talk to you when I get back.

John

You might want to consider the necessity of the Mae West. Seems to me, if the pilot has been on the ground log enough to have his head bandaged, he would have gotten out of the life jacket.

:)

Thanks for the comment I had pictured first aid for the pilot taking priority but a fair comment.

John,

The woman appears to be standing on her tip toes. I'm not sure this would be practical or balanced if she's trying to support the weight of a man leaning on her.

Cheers

Hi Tony

Thanks for the comments , This was an intentional effect on my part as the wounded figure is leaning/falling forwards I intended for her to appear slightly off balance to achieve the effect of this I have one of her feet slightly raised.

John,I remember when I used these same three figures in a diorama myself some years ago that the woman and injured man did not perfectly fit together, but you've done well.Great work on the whole setting, well done.
