This is an amazing paintjob you've done.
I would have probably painted the busby with more contrst,more highlights of brownish fur and more dar ones,but that could be the picture too.
Just my 2 cents,but i wish i could paint as good as you do.

It also depends on one's style,i like probably more contrast,that doesn't make it right.

Maurice Corry's 75mm 4th light dragoon - came free with the Guardsman.

I also have Alexandros Miniatures wonderful Napoleon Bonaparte Bust en-route from the UK. So many figures...so little time.

brilliant model. nice colour scheme. just purchased the same one. wasnt sure of the colour of the pants. were they black or dark blue? sorry but isnt the plume surpposed to be red

Hi Dave, Thanks for having a look. Yes the plume is supposed to be red, and it is in fact that colour in real life, my having corrected that error already. The pants are meant to be a very dark blue, and I even went so far as to shade using lamp black, but the highlights had some Paynes grey and a touch of ultramarine blue mixed into the white, producing blueish highlights.

hi glenn. thanks for the info on the colours. i will need a bit more practice before i attempt my figure. so i will see how it goes. i also like the stance on the figure, its different!
