Great photos Tommi. I'd love to see the one taken moments after the Russian peasants discover electricity for the first time.

Showing your age Brian I don't remember them  Ps where are you getting the dulcote from
For that insult i'm no telling ye,get it right up you Ron.
On a more serious note Ron i got it from e-bay but can't remember the name of the company but if you Google Dulcote u.k. you'll find it o.k.The spray is very good but the small bottle for brushing on is amazing.Shake the bottle, brush on straight from the bottle and it will go matt in under a minute.

Just on the topic of Waterloo veterans, I'd just like to mention that there is an old country village about 100 kms inland from where I live which was settled by British Waterloo veterans, in the early 1820's, who were given large allocations of land to settle in Australia.
In the early 1800's it must have felt like the end of the Earth. It still feels like that today, except for the pub there. It was quite literally as far away from Europe as was possible then, as indeed it is now. There was a large indigenous population of Aboriginals living there at the time too, but that didn't seem to matter.....that's just my little snippet of the scant Waterloo history, that I'm aware of, which exists down here.

That's interesting Mark, what's the name of the village and are there records of the names of the veterans?

Roger.

Roger, the village is called Wollombi, and it does have a local museum as well as the pub ( which is also infamous for it's "Dr. Jurd's Jungle Juice") but I really don't know any further specific detail than that.
I'll have to make it my homework to gather some more detail~ stay tuned!
