Though this book is for those interested in accurately interpreting the Federal Soldier, it may also be of interest to the miniature sculptor or painter. The first 200+ pages of the book (437 in all for $40) discusses the uniforms and equipment of the Federal Infantryman in detail (an understatement for sure). The first Edition sold out after selling 1,000 copies, so don't wait. If you're outside of the "campaigner" or "hardcore" Civil war reenacting circle this is a gem waiting to be discovered.
