Hi,
a few days ago I returned to take the canvas and oils that
were still more or less 20 years, decided to apply this bust that had to paint,
and by now is well, hope you enjoy
all criticisms are welcome

What a wonderful paint job. The skin tones are perfect. Did you use a pencil to draw his mustache? It looks scribbled on..

No, I used cobalt blue to darken a little more of the area before the last light mustache

The detail in the badge looks very neat, and the hair is very good - matches the skin tones of someone who has been in the sun for many years.

this bust is part of a project that I'm doing
on the Portuguese in Africa .1961-74.
Project which I create the various arms of the Portuguese forces, Army, Air Force, Navy, including the special forces, this is one "commands."
