Finshed this lovely little bust (1/12). It was a pain in the A*** to tie a bow under the chin, 3 attempts later.....I used Frogtape.
I have used a wooden egg cup for the base as these are cheap (no pun intended ) 49 pence!
Hope you like it.
These were taken on my phone, three attempts and the photos are the right way up

Very nicely painted, and an original base to boot.

Cheers,
Andrew

Glad you liked it. I picked the bust up at the Plymouth show. Not my usual period but a change is as good as a rest.
Thanks for the comment mate.

Excellent result Bob. This is a great little bust, when Matt's on song he produces some top work. You've more than done it justice.
Cracking idea with the egg cup particularly as you didn't have to shell out too much. In fact you got it so cheep you could be accused of poaching it..........;)

I thought it was an eggsellent idea as well and glad you liked the bust, your input is also much appreciated. :ROFLMAO:

Hi Bob.
Good painting, and excellent eyes. Really stunning eyes.
The base is a great and cheap idea, but i think is a bit big for this bust, and works better with 1/10.
About the painting, the only thing i'll do is to profile the rivets of the helmet (i think rivet is the word for the golden parts of the jaw) and put a little more of shadow at the helmet.
