I recently posted this figure of a 1917 US infantryman. If you want to look it up, the post is only a few days back and has the same title. Harry Ford correctly pointed out that the telescopic sight on the Springfield rifle was the wrong one and that the soldier should have the Warner & Swasey Model 1913 telescopic sight mounted on the rifle. SO...here's the W&S sight and the soldier.

Next stop - I'm shipping the piece to Roger Newsome in Yorkshire for painting.
