This was recently completed. 1/6 scale, sculpted mostly in a mix of Super Sculpey and Sculpey Firm. The face was roughed out in Sculpey, then molded and cast in hard wax to tighten up and render more detail, then cast in resin to attach to the figure.

All the weapons were also hand sculpted, the majority of the base is Sculpey except for the broken pillar which was made from plaster. I almost always use plaster to replicate stone.

This will be an officially licensed CONAN painted statue, through Quarantine Studio, but we may do a very small run of unpainted kits as well.

Thanks for looking,

Wilhelm

Would love to have an unpainted one, depending on cost of course. Nicely done

At 1/6 scale it would be bloody expensive I imagine.

Relatively speaking. Certainly when compared to the smaller scales that are prevalent in the majority of work I have seen here. But hopefully not too much of a bite for anyone really interested.

Thanks for the nice comments from everyone.

Stunning. But at 1/6th, and very limited edition unpainted, can't see much change out of £100 - £200. Would love one though. An all time favourite to me.

1/6 resin kits (distributing company and Licensing aside) are generally not as expensive as you may think, usually less than a Pegaso 90mm mounted kit.

Ben! hopefully your right !! But, on a limited run! .. and by the sounds of it there may well be licensing issues!.. we can but wait to find out! ... 'Affordability', has always been a horrible vague term!:nailbiting:

Saying that! .. most, Pegaso Mounted figures are in 'White Metal',.. damn expensive, due to the cost of the base material used! .. so, yes hopefully Resin, will be that much cheaper!

Regards,

Mark
