I don't have much to add to what has been said but I particularly appreciate the authentic way you depict the balance of the musket (position of the hand and angle of the weapon). Sculptors, take note!

Quang, Thanks a lot. To tell you the truth the thought never occured to me while doing it. It is really important though for painters and sculptors alike to keep in mind the the effect that weapons and equipment have on a person when they're loaded down.
