This is Copper State Models 3D printed 1/35 scale Triumph Model H motorcycle with rider & Sgt. delivering pigeons to a Mk.II British tank that accompanied the Canadian assault on Vimy Ridge in April 1917. The figures were painted with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. The tank is a conversion of Takom's Mk.1 female. Cheers!

Wow, that is a brilliant diorama and the figures are excellent. I like the slight irony in this, cutting edge military technology and archaic communication methods, cracking job all round.

Cheers Simon

Lovely work Gary, the figures are really well painted. That is a superb diorama, lovely storytelling. CSM really are knocking it out of the park with their figures and motorcycles, and you did them justice.

Agree there Mobo

Nice figure and bird work ....do like the way the spontoon and door is camouflaged , replacements or ran out of paint !

Thanks Kevin. The sponsons were taken from a Mk.1 tank which sported the colouful "Solomon" camouflage and bolted to the newer Mk.II. The Mk.II's were actually built as training vehicles, and didn't have the hardened steel armour plating needed for combat - but since the even newer Mk.IV's were not ready by the time the Arras offensive rolled around, they used the Mk.II's. Number 598 was photographed during that time. Cheers, Gary.

Thank Nigel. I have to say the detail on these figures was absolutely amazing - the logos on the cap badges, down to the figures fingernails....really something. And the motorcycles are in a real league of their own. Just don't drop them on a tiled floor;)
