Corporal 7th Dragoon Guards, Cape Frontier 1845

Good afternoon all. After quite some time on the bench, I'm pleased to finally show off my completed corporal of the 7th Dragoon Guards on the Cape Frontier. He is a fantastic sculpt from Troop 54 with a few minor additions by me. As usual, mostly painted in Humbrol enamels with a bit of acrylic and oils thrown in to achieve certain effects. Thanks Bob. Funnily enough I have a few in the pipeline that you have done very nicely- that Avanpost voltigeur and Troop 54's 88th sgt. Doing my best to keep out of harm's way Bob- just joined our rural crime team. Regards Pete

Thanks Winfield. I put some more details on the Brunswick rifle - sling swivels, bayonet bar and reshaped the lock and hammer. I also put a couple of historex buckles on the sword slings. Regards Pete.
