Hi Guys,

Just about done this one, apart from a bit of base tidying and adding nameplate. 90mm resin figure from Warrior (I think), to depict S Staffs Rgt at Arnhem. Some details altered, beret reshaped, new cap badge added, lower jaw and mouth resculpted. I still think the head looks a little small, although it may be the smock that is on the large side! I also lost the entrenching tool and pickaxe helve, but again, it looked huge, so no real loss!

I think Im done with painting Paras for a while now...

Thanks for looking,

Steve(y)

Anybody would look small under those massive smocks and berets, he looks great mate, you've cracked the weathered look.
Scotty.

He looks great. I love the faded look to his smock as well. His head looks fine in proportion to the rest of the figure I think.
I'm going to keep this one for a reference.

I think it's from a company called Miniature Alliance and it is quite a nice figure except for the head and bad weapon casting. Your job on the face really improves it. I quite like the baggy smock actually. My feeling is in other figures it is often not baggy enough. Will keep your changes in mind when (if!?) I ever do mine.

Cheers
Adrian

Cheers Adrian - not sure who the maker was, as Ive thrown the box away! The beret, as was, was pretty awful, to be honest as was the lower part of the face, the mouth being too small - hence, the(y) changes!
