Way too kind buddy!
Pleasing for you to accomplish this massive project.
I’m starting my first 120mm figure for years.
It’s only a simple one but a bit daunting.
And will tap into how you used roots. :)

Thanks again, Mike and looking forward to your book! Roots were pulled in the fall from the garden, they worked out great. Tomato and pepper roots seem to have a better tight structure and sturdy as well, IMHO.

Fantastic work, Steve. I've been to the Hartenstein Hotel twice, it's an outstanding museum & I can only imagine what it was like to be in the trenches in the grounds.

Thank you, Chris. Yes, we do seem to portray the rather dark side of humanity, but we all do this with an honorable approach. That would be a museum to visit.

Still summer so will grab in next month or two

Hi Steve!

WOW! The final result is simply... I don't have enough words for it! Oustanding! Magnificent! A true work of art!

Congratulations mate! (y) (y) (y)

Cheers!

Hi Ski,
Top draw work all around, you have really brought Steve's excellent sculpts to life.
I was lucky enough to see this before release and new it was a superb piece of history in miniature and with painting like that(y) Kudos. A classic WW2 piece. Has my vote for figure of the month before you have even entered it.;)

Steve's mate the character in those faces you have sculpted are just fabulous:notworthy:
cheers
Richie

Thisis quite superb, especially as it is based on a photograph taken at the time. My only minor adverse comment would be that the uniforms look a touch too clean and could do with a bit of weathering.

Thanks Dolf, you been pushing me along for some time, keeping the motivation going as well. Thanks, Me Hermano!

Thank you, Richie. Clean sculpts are a joy to work with and this set was perfect, compact, and told an incredible true story.

Thanks, Mike. You are spot on, but don't tell anyone, HA! Yes, I saw that after I installed them into the base and pics were posted. It's one of those things that got past the punch list and Quality Control, lol. I will have to supervise the QC guy a bit more closely;)

Fantastic painting on all the figures Steve.
The work you've put into the base has pulled the whole vignette together.
It's so good that I half expect the individual figures to move.
Very, very well done.

Cheers,
Andrew

That is a very kind compliment, Andrew. I've seen quite a few figs on PF that are too real to be resin and paint, spooky.
