I represent a picture of my latest project. Vignette is made based on Georg Emanuel Opitz watercolors (photo attached). It depicts events in 1814, when the Russian Cossacks temporarily housed in Paris. Vignette made for Irbis miniatures.

I too love the subject. In fact, so much that I was inspired to sculpt a figure from the Opitz illustrations a few years ago. My figure is 120mm, available from SK Miniatures for anybody interested.



Sorry for the shameless plug! It seems many modelers missed this on when it was originally released....
