Hi Folks,
This is a bust that I bought at Bugle Call earlier this year from Gordon Mitchell (Grod on PF) on the MMM stand. It is not part of the MMM range and, I understood from Gordon, was something that he'd commissioned and was selling castings that day. If you want more details, he's the person to ask.
Anyway, I rather liked this item (comprising three parts:- body/head, mace and feathers), and bought it for the princely sum of £15.
With no boxart provided, I let my imagination take over and really enjoyed not having to follow the constraints of a uniform.
The paints were my usual mixture of oils, enamels, acrylics and printers ink.
The photographs, being digital and with no additional lighting other than what happened to be coming through the window, tend to show a lighter and brighter image than what is viewed directly. If anyone has any advice on how to get a more realistic result, I'd love to hear it.
Over to yourselves for your comments, in whatever vein.
Cheers,
Andrew
